The result after heat pressing is not good (bad sticking, folds...).
Please check and respect the heat pressing temperatures, pressure, and time according the technical data sheets available and revised on our website.
The flex applied on a tee-shirt is removing after washing.
Please control which product was applied on garment ? ALLMARK is only dedicated to nylon fabrics and doesn't resist to 40°C washing. HOTMARK is suitable for cotton, acrylic, polyester and similar fibres and can be washed at 80°C. The polyester backing should be removed once completely cold for all products (except EASYWEEDING). Not waiting for the crystallisation (cold temperature) of glue can make a wrong sticking. EASYWEEDING can be peeled cold.
There is a glue shade all around the heat transfer.
This means you heat pressed too much hot. Please control the heat pressing temperature on the digital output of your heat press and the one of the product you want to heat press as indicated in each technical data sheet.
The heat transfer is tearing away and coming off from the garment.
Please note that after heat pressing, the polyester backing of most of our flex and flock should be removed when completely cold (except EASYWEEDING).
There is glue residue on flex or flock after heat pressing.
Please note that after heat pressing, the polyester backing of most of our flex and flock should be removed when completely cold (except EASYWEEDING).
After washing, the colours of the heat transfer changed.
Please control the material of the garment since this problem happens with polyester garments which contain sublimation inks. For reminder, sublimation inks can be reactivated with heat and then migrate on the heat transfer material. The solution is to use a product which contains a barrier to the migration of inks : HOTMARK SIR or SUITPRINT SIR (print media version).
The printing on the print media is not satisfactory.
Please control the parameters of the printer : heating - pressure - calibration. And for more information please check with the printer reseller.
Overlaying is not good.
It is important to respect the heat pressing temperatures and time of the products. Some of them can be heat pressed at 140°C (HOTMARK METALLIC) once and others can be heat pressed several times and at different temperatures. You should not mix the products with hot or cold peeling of the polyester backing.
